Poppy is a beautiful silver torbie with an exceptionally thick, fluffy coat and gorgeous green eyes. She was the biggest kitten in Rosie’s final litter (Rosie's Bloom), and she has a sweet, cuddly nature to match her lovely appearance.
Poppy comes from a truly exceptional pairing. Her father, Teddy, descends from the Tzar-Koshka line, and her mother, Rosie, was a stunning bimetallic from the renowned Vlasta line. Teddy and Rosie were a special pair, and Poppy carries the beauty of both in her own unique way.
Poppy’s DNA testing through Orivet’s MyCatScan panel showed that she is clear of all genetic diseases included in the panel. It also revealed that she carries the golden sunshine gene, which she inherited from Rosie. Gus carries this gene as well, making their planned pairing especially exciting. With Gus’s cream silver coloring and Poppy’s silver torbie pattern, we hope they may produce bimetallic kittens and help carry Rosie’s beautiful coloring into future generations.
Poppy lives in a loving guardian home with Abbie and her husband, where she gets to be a cherished part of their family. We’re planning Poppy’s first breeding for spring 2027 and are excited to see what the future holds for this special girl.
