Colorpoint Siberian Cats

Colorpoint Siberian cats are one of the most recognizable and beloved color varieties within the breed. They feature a lighter body color with darker coloring on the face, ears, legs, and tail, known as “points.” This unique pattern is caused by a temperature-sensitive gene that allows darker pigment to develop in the cooler areas of the body.

Colorpoint Siberians are born with beautiful blue eyes, which remain blue throughout their lives. Kittens are often born very light in color and gradually develop darker points as they grow. Common colorpoint varieties include seal point, blue point, flame point, cream point, tortie point, and lynx point.

At Lil Star Siberians, several of our cats showcase the beauty of the colorpoint pattern. Teddy, our handsome flame point male, is known for his striking blue eyes and warm cream and red coloring. Biggie, a blue lynx point, displays beautiful tabby markings within his points, giving him a unique and distinguished appearance. Sache is a gorgeous blue point female with soft, elegant coloring, while Mochi is a stunning blue tortie point, combining the colorpoint pattern with beautiful patches of cream throughout her coat.

Brown Tabby Siberian Cats

Golden Siberian Cats (Sunshine Gold)

Golden Siberian cats are among the rarest and most sought after color varieties within the breed. Their coats feature warm golden, apricot, honey, and peach tones that create a radiant, sun kissed appearance unlike any other Siberian color. The golden gene reduces cool tones in the coat, allowing rich golden hues to shine through and giving these cats their signature glow.

Golden Siberians can appear in a variety of patterns, including tabby, tortoiseshell, and shaded coats. Some display bright, warm golden coloring throughout their coat, while others have softer golden tones paired with blue, cream, or darker markings. Their coloring often becomes richer and more vibrant as they mature.

Silver Siberian Cats

Silver Siberian cats are known for their stunning contrast, bright coats, and eye catching appearance. The silver gene lightens the base of each hair, creating a beautiful silvery white undercoat that gives these cats their signature shimmer. Depending on the color and pattern, silver Siberians can range from bold black silver tabbies with dramatic markings to softer blue silver cats with a more subtle, elegant look.

There are many beautiful silver variations within the Siberian breed. Black silver tabbies feature dark markings against a bright silver background, while blue silver tabbies display softer blue-gray markings. Silver tortoiseshell cats combine silver with patches of red or cream, creating a unique and colorful coat pattern. Blue cream silver torties are especially admired for their delicate blend of silver, blue-gray, and cream tones.

Much of our silver line traces back to Rosie, our retired bimetallic queen. Rosie has produced a wonderful variety of silver-coated kittens over the years and has played an important role in our program. Her daughter, Star, is a beautiful black silver tabby who carries on her mother’s legacy with her striking silver coat and expressive green eyes. We also kept Poppy from Rosie’s final litter, a gorgeous blue cream silver tortie whose coat showcases the incredible beauty and variety that can be found in silver Siberians.
